Deterrents to Pursue Passion: A Study on Millenials

The purpose of this paper is to find out what passion means oneself and why millennials fail pursue their passion. This phenomenological type qualitative research was conducted through purposive sampling by participation 16 millennials. data were collected an in depth semi-structured interview. All the interviews transcribed analyzed inductively. Through study we could understand see that it something brings joy a driving force for some people, bringing content motivating oneself. shows dissonance regrets faced due shift made how they it. To went through, observed emotions like frustration, even season depression through. Some coping mechanisms found accepting present, spiritual encouragement, developing new interests social involvement among peers. results caused them from current situation participants explained hindrances life family challenges, uncertainty industry, societal influence lack guidance.
